15th Annual Hot August Night in Hammond, Louisiana. Join us for an evening of art, music, wine tasting, shopping and food. The evening begins in Hammond’s downtown shops and spills out onto the streets. The festive atmosphere sets a romantic and relaxing place to stroll and greet old friends and make new ones, too. Hot August Nights has become very popular with folks throughout the region. You don’t want to miss this event!

The Downtown Development District works with local businesses and the Regional Arts Center to present original artwork on exhibit in over forty locations. Each participating business offers a different wine for visitors to taste as they browse through the stores. The restaurants are very much a part of Hot August Night and welcome visitors to relax, dine, and cool off a bit.

Enjoy Live music everywhere - in the streets, businesses and restaurants.

There is a $20 wine taster’s fee which includes a keepsake Hot August Night tumbler. Also, you will receive a wine passport card that when punched at each stop will enter you into a prize drawing. Times for the event are 6:00 p.m. through 10 p.m.
